Britain Builders is a registry and coordination platform for technologists working to rebuild Britain's public digital infrastructure. We connect skilled engineers with civic tech projects, track ecosystem activity, and build the tools the country needs.
No. Britain Builders is independent and non-partisan. We operate outside government but work alongside GDS and other digital services where interests align. Our independence lets us move faster and think longer-term than any administration.
Software engineering, data science, product management, UX design, policy analysis. If you can ship working software or analysis that changes how people understand problems, we need you. No specific credentials—we care about what you can build.

Currently most contributions are volunteer or self-funded. We're building toward partnerships with organizations who can fund full-time roles. The immediate value: portfolio credibility, network access, and visible impact on problems that matter.
